Why do you need to detox and cleanse your body?

Looking at the graph above, when you are healthy, you are at the peak of your health on the left. You exercise everyday, you watch your diet and you have a healthy lifestyle.

For most people, that don’t last long as there are so much delicious food out in the world and so much emotional stress. Hence, you start to consume all the unhealthy food like fast food, sugar food (like pastries, soft drinks, chocolates), and meat (red meats, steak, pork, chicken).

Whenever you consume these foods, it might seem that your health is still perfectly fine but your health deteriorates as you continue with all these foods. Some common illnesses like sore throat, cough or phlegm are quick to surface, while diseases like high blood pressure may took years before any symptoms appear.

As the junk foods accumulated, your body and organs (liver, kidneys, large intestines) work too hard that they could not take it anymore. At this point of time, your health is at the bottom of the graph and you fall sick.

You visit a doctor and you are prescribed with medicine which treat the symptoms of your illness. Your body is  recovered temporarily because of the medicine. However, the junk foods are still clogged in your body (colons or large intestines).

As a result, your body is far from the great health you experience at the start. The medicine is just a temporarily measure to control your illness but it can never boost your health.

Can you imagine what happens when the toxins and wastes are still clogged in your body?

When this occurs, the mucus will be secreted over the layer before and it will accumulate to about 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick. And it can be as hard as a piece of rubber. When people goes for a cleansing diet, they noticed the tons of waste being eliminated, some can be over 20 feet long. You will be shocked that these wastes can be stuck in your body for so long.

In order for you to restart from your original state of health, your body needs to detox to clear all the mucus, and eliminate all the wastes and toxins. In additional to that, your organs need to rest from all the junk foods.

And that’s the main purpose for a detox diet.

I would say master cleanse did the most miracle to my health and my weight. I managed to lose 18 pounds on my first try on the master cleanse and I’ve finished 4 times so far. If you want a detox diet that work, I would highly recommend master cleanse.

    Greetings,
I know you are not suppose to consume any solids during the fasting/cleanse process. Is juicing or the blending of some fruits and veggies prohibited. As you already know, your body needs the bare minimum to operate daily, expecially those people with strenuous, long hour jobs.

I am not worried about the weight lost factor sense it is the side effect of the cleanse, I am more concentrated on the benefits of the internal feel-good the body should bring because I am more focused on a well conditioned body to suitable to periodical cleanses throughout the year. I have to lead by example in my household and for the in-laws whom are not discipline nor prone to any structured program of this kind. I figured if I can do it, the wife and in-laws will jump on board.

More results of my process is due to come. See, write to you all soon.

    Hello All
I lasted no time on the master cleanse. I fixed the salt water the first morning and had a hard time getting down the first cup. By the end I was gagging. I just could not get down the other 3 cups. I decided then and there there was no way I could drink 4 cups very morning. I didn’t even get to the lemonade. I was very excited about doing the cleanse. Wonder if there is any benefit to doing it without the saltwater?
