Detox Symptoms. When Do You Detoxify Your Body?

There are a number of signs and symptoms that tell you that you should detox. The body gradually gets congested with the toxins that increase within the system and trouble us through the different symptoms that we experience, indicating to us that we need to take heed and detoxify. Detoxing starts in the colon. Toxins start accumulating in the colon waste and get released into the bloodstream. Rather than carrying healthy blood to the cells, toxic blood gets supplied instead.

Symptoms

The toxic blood gives rise to a number of symptoms like arthritis, joint or back pains, headaches, sinus, asthma or chronic respiratory problems, bad breath and body odor, coated tongue, poor digestion and food allergies, constipation and intestinal bloating, gas, hair, nails, psoriasis, weight gain, adult acne, reduced memory, insomnia, irritability, fatigue, and many more which naturally indicate a change in your health and call for detoxification.

Other Signs

You may also ask yourself certain questions if in doubt about the symptoms that you are experiencing. Answers to the following questions may indicate that you need to detox. So answer these questions truthfully.

Do you feel heavy and congested after a meal or probably the wrong foods?

Are you building up a tendency of feeling lethargic and downtrodden?

Are you feeling overloaded with too much medication and the need to eliminate the residues?

Why Do You Need to Detoxify? We need to understand why this is needed. All or at least most problems are caused by the toxins and the dead or waste foods that collect in the colon and do not get digested. Neither do they get expelled. As a matter of fact they lead not only to short term but also to long term illnesses which may be also very serious.

Sometimes the very simple of problems like headache, depression, indigestion, flatulence, frequent belching, cold hands and feet, tendency to be anxious and nervous, frequent colds, or flu, metallic taste in the mouth, unusual sweating, recurring yeast infections, burning sensation of the skin, chronic insomnia and tiredness, dizziness at the time of getting up from sitting or lying position or when standing, thirst -frequent or less, family history of diabetes, cataracts, or Alzheimer’s, short and shallow breathing, and even loose skin are all indications to detox.

Sometimes these things are overlooked and neglected. So also is the fact that some of us reside in polluted areas or are locked in for long hours in air-conditioned working places, deprived of fresh air and sunlight.

All these signs and symptoms tell us that we should detox, and try and take in as much fresh air and sunlight as possible.
