Body pH Balance

Do you know the pH of a healthy body? Our blood has a pH level around 7.35 to 7.45, which is slightly alkaline. pH measures how acid or alkaline a medium is. From 1 to 7, pH level is considered to be acidic while from 7 to 14, it is considered being alkaline. 7 by itself is a neutral state. Why do you need to know this? Our energy level is heavily dependent on our pH level. And having a diet that would restore our pH would boost our energy level.

It begins with the bloodstream. Our bloodstream is like a superhighway that joins to all parts of our body. Red blood cells are the vehicles in our body and they travel along the bloodstream to deliver the oxygen and nutrients to the whole body. The red blood cells are negatively charge and hence it enables them to collide with the bloodstream. And when the negative charge is no longer there, they would just stick together. This can cause blood blockage and bottlenecks in the bloodstream. Our blood pressure would increase as a result.

With the pressure increase in our blood, it has a negative impact on our body. This usually causes us to feel tired and sluggish as our energy is being sapped away. One of the reasons behind a blockage in our bloodstream is due to acid. When acid enters our body, it neutralized the negative charge of the red blood cells and causes it to stick with each other and bang the ceiling walls of the bloodstream. What can you do to avoid this? You can simply ends this by taking note of what you put inside your mouth and into your stomach. When the stomach digests food, natural acidic waste is left behind. The type of foods also influences how acidic our blood will become. Our body eliminates these wastes in the form of urine and sweat however when excessive waste are piled up in our body, it is simply impossible to eliminate the acidic wastes.

What happens when your body is not able to eliminate these wastes? These wastes would store in your body and block your bloodstream up. The alkaline cells in our body would starts to react with the acid cells in our body. The cells would then neutralize each other and a lot of energy is wasted in expelling this waste. Most of the damage would be done on the body and the fight would carry on for very long. Eventually, when these wastes are piled in our body, most of the energy would be depleted and leave our body open to disease and waste.

What can you do to save this situation? You would need a higher energy level to fend off the diseases and allows us to have strong cellular regeneration. The first thing we should do is to change our diet by reversing this breakdown of our body. Whatever we eat would determine how much acidic waste gets stored in our body. The more alkaline food we choose, the lesser the waste would be accumulated in our body which would ensure us of a good health.

“You are what you eat” is true. By limiting the amounts of alkaline food you consume would balance your body and energy level. Limit your intake of acidic foods and increase your intake of alkaline food would help you increase your stamina, endurance and overall performance of your body.
