Detox Your Life - A Whole New Healthy Life

Detoxification of the whole body evolves around three major factors, which is detoxing through cleansing the spiritual aspects of our lives, the physical aspects of our lifestyle, and lastly the emotional aspect where we learn to take control over ourselves.

Spiritual Detoxification

One of the first ways to detox is tackling the spiritual side of our lives. We often feel a sense of emptiness that keeps us searching for something in life. What is this something, not many of us are aware and we continue until it is realized. We find many spiritual studies and meditations that have come alive and we each try to follow a technique to find the missing link in our life. The various spiritual techniques that have evolved help guide us to find the purpose for which we are here. This search is strong because we have evolved to a degree, and this develops that crave within us.

Consequently, we find more people get into various meditations and yoga. They involve breathing techniques and exercises and actual meditations on higher aspects of life, like soul realization, oneness with the higher self and so on. The actual meditation practice is also important.

Spiritual evolvement not only brings purpose into our lives but also helps guide us through a lifetime. It helps bring us the peace and calm we need. Those already into these sciences of evolution will realize what it is to detox spiritually.

Physical Detox

Detoxing our physical state involves a reformed lifestyle. Lifestyle in turn involves healthy living, our habits of eating, drinking, waking, sleeping, and exercise. We tend to eat whatever foods catch our fancy, that is fast foods, processed foods and aerated drinks that are least nutritious in nature. What is good to be eaten like fresh and raw greens and fruits, and multi-grain cereals and breads, are practically omitted from our diet.

We go to bed late at night and awake late. We do not realize that our bodies need the first few hours of sleep during which our body repairs and revitalizes itself. This keeps the body fatigued and tired. The mind in turn is not as alert or bright as it should be.

Exercise tends to be totally omitted from our lifestyle. There seems to be no time or schedule to accommodate exercise or breathing exercises so important to life. Today with the pollution that we breathe, our bodies naturally get diseased. We need to specially incorporate a healthier way of breathing and being in clean surroundings for some part of the day.

Emotional Detox

With lifestyles as complicated and unhealthy as we lead it is but natural to be overpowered by stress and anxiety. When we live physically and spiritually healthy lives our emotional lives too become clean and stress free.

Today’s life is evolved around too many problems, some of which are relationships and our workplace. We need to unload our contaminated minds and the mental and emotional burden that we carry.

It helps to get away to environments where we can relax and let the mind calm down to degrees where all stress is removed. Deep breathing and unwinding exercises, listening to soothing music, and light mediation too help you to detox emotionally. That’s why one of the unwinding methods recommended is a holiday where one can forget the daily humdrum of life’s problems.
