How To Look Younger & Healthier – Simple Daily Detox Routine

I’ve recently bumped into a 61 year old man while I was working in the gym. Before he told me his age, he looked like he is in his late 40s or 50s. I was amazed when I discovered his age as he was full of energy and radiant in his face.
We had quite a long chat and he told me his secret of staying healthy and looking younger.
Every morning between 5.30 to 6am, he would run for around half an hour to an hour. After which, he would go home and eat a sunkist orange. Because he wakes up so early in the morning, there’s still time before he go for work, he would go and take a short nap.
This is the routine came about… This man used to be a young chap who would fall sick easily. When he eat some potato chips, he would sometimes gotten ulcers or fall sick. It’s called “heatiness” in the chinese medicine – when one eats food of too much ‘yang’, excessive ‘yang’ stored in the body is called heatiness.
He claimed that after he done his routine, he no longer fall sick easily.
So let us find out how his routine would benefit our body.
Jogging helps exercise our circulatory system and especially our lungs. As it gets our whole body moving and make our body fluids circulating at an increasing rate. Furthermore it helped us detox our body when we sweat the toxins out of our body.
How about eating oranges?
Oranges can give you a healthy does of vitamin C which gives you antioxidants protection and strengthen your immunity system. With a strong immune system, no wonder he won’t fall sick so easily.
Oranges have lots of other health benefits too like protecting yourself against cardiovascular disease, may lower cholestrol level in your body, provides a good source of fiber, prevent kidney stones, reduce ulcers, protect respiratory system and protects against rheumatoid arthritis.
Combining jogging with eating oranges, it would mean more health benefits such as anti aging, staying youthful etc. It’s a not a miracle that this man can look so much younger and healthier without any artificial medicines.
He also mentioned that the period of time you sleep in the morning is the most sound sleep you would ever get. Why? Because the respiratory system is taking in ample amount of oxygen into the lungs such that it’s easier to breathe. And with this morning 1 hour short nap, it helped him feel as energetic as ever.
