10 Ways I Would Use To Combat the Swine Flu

In the midst of the financial crisis, comes the swine flu where the whole world may be at the risk a pandemic occurs; here are some of the ways which I would combat the swine flu if it ever comes close to my family.
- Ensure almost perfect hygiene – Making sure that everyone is the family has proper hygiene, from the proper sanitation of utensils, to the proper cleaning of hands.
- Stay at home as much as possible – Going to places with many people would stand a very high chance to be infected as the swine flu can pass from one to another. This is the best time for the Master Cleanse Diet as you can stay at home for many days and cleanse your body. With a cleansed body, you may have a stronger immune system against the influenza, and by staying at home, you have lower risk to get exposed to the virus.
- Strengthening the body immune system – Consuming food that will boost the body’s natural immune system like fruits, vitamins C, herbs, even chinese herbs like ginseng, etc.
- Avoid junk foods and unhealthy food – Refraining from all the food that is unhealthy and that may bring about flu, cough, etc. I don’t want to land myself in the clinic as there is higher risk in the clinic if there is a potential influenza victim.
- Take a break from work – Working environment is likely to be the best place to spread a virus. Office place is close to one another, and when you are having your meal, especially eating in a crowded place.
- Network as little as possible - We always heard that we should network more in order to draw more deals or meet more friends. But in a pandemic, we want to reduce our networking exposure as much as possible. Handshake, kissing, and close contact with one another is one way to accelerate the virus spread.
- Keep yourself updated with the news – It is very important for you to know what has happen around the world and in your country so you know how extensive the pandemic has hit and what you can do to take precaution.
- Wear a mask when going outdoors – Getting a mask can lower the risk of getting infected by the influenza. During SARS, masks were great tools that help countries control the pandemic. Better buy the masks soon or it will go out of stock soon.
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth - I have recently realized that our hands has been contact with all the germs by touching on the public transport handles, seats, money, floor, etc. With so many much germs we contact using our hands; it can heighten our risk of getting any virus let alone the influenza.
- When cough or sneeze, use a tissue and throw it into the dustbin after use – After throwing the tissue into the dustbin, wash your hands with soap and water.
This is how I would control the pandemic if it gets worse and hopefully everyone would stay healthy, safe and sound by taking responsibilities for our hygiene and health.
